Sublette County, Wyoming has a lot to offer. While being small in population approximately 2,000 residents, we are big in area, almost 5,000 sq miles. We are currently in the process of building a Hospital in Pinedale and will be opening the doors in Spring of 2025. At this time, we are the only county in Wyoming without a hospital and are excited to offer that next level of care to our community.
Currently, the Sublette County Hospital District operates two healthcare clinics, the Pinedale Medical Clinic and the Marbleton/ Big Piney Medical Clinic, which offer primary, urgent, and emergent care along with radiology and laboratory services. We also operate two EMS services, one in Pinedale and another in Marbleton / Big Piney. Our caring professional team stands ready to fulfill our community’s healthcare needs through affordable patient care and excellent customer service.
With more than 1,000 lakes in Sublette County, there is plenty of fishing, both in the spring/summer as well as ice-fishing during the winter! Beautiful mountains provide lots of hiking and biking. Wildlife is abundant and it is normal to see moose and deer making their way along our main street. A Wyoming traffic jam is usually because of animals crossing, not cars!
