Starobin Counseling works to restore, repair, and re-energize relationships of all sorts. We adapt evidenced-based models to fit the pace and learning styles of our clients. Our counselors provide therapy for autistic and neurotypical children, adolescents, adults, couples, families. We also offer groups. Parents Together is a group for parents of autistics offering social connection and emotional support. Siblings Together does the same for siblings. Our Adult Support Groups offer neuro-affirming and emotionally supportive spaces. Our therapists have been trained in Relational Life Therapy, Family Systems, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention, Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, Collaborative Assessment for the Management of Suicide, Mindfulness approaches, and trauma work.

Starobin Counseling’s mission is to guide individuals, couples, and families of all ages, cultural backgrounds, and neurodiverse profiles in their own processes of repairing relationship challenges that stand in the way of living fully, relationally, and authentically.

Vision Statement
Starobin Counseling aims to repair the world one person, one couple, one family, one group at a time. We regard counseling as a practice of contextualization. We enter work with clients not only with respect for their own unique life histories but also with regard to challenges they present as participants in their dynamic, ongoing relationships with others.
