Sensory Kids, located in North Liberty, Iowa, is an absolutely fantastic occupational and speech therapy practice. Our son’s experience at Sensory Kids has only been positive! We drive 80 miles each way- twice a week and every trip is worth it. Teresa, Natalie, Niki and everyone else has been great to deal with! ‘Nolan go on adventure at Sensory Kids?’ -This is what I hear every time we leave the house. This coming from a child who was nonverbal a year and a half ago. We owe a lot of his success to the wonderful therapists at Sensory Kids. He is talking so well that a lot of his frustrations are gone. Teresa and the entire staff at Sensory Kids in North Liberty are wonderful! We drive 65 miles each way to “play” with Miss Teresa. The staff are always kind, compassionate, and knowledgeable. Teresa helped our family discover how to best help our sensory avoider. She genuinely cares about each and every child. She wants what’s best for them and has become our main advocate. It was clear from the moment my daughter and I walked through the door at Sensory Kids that it is a parent and child-friendly place with welcoming and supportive staff who love their job. Their child-centered approach helps to encourage and keep clients engaged and motivated during therapy sessions. The OT clinician my daughter was paired with quickly built great rapport and trust with my child. It was a genuine connection. The OT clinician tailored a program to my daughter’s unique needs. The OT clinician developed an individualized treatment plan. There are many strategies from our toolbox that we use at home for carry-over homework. It is amazing to watch my child progress at her own pace while building confidence in her abilities.

After receiving our Autism diagnosis, we were very overwhelmed and had no idea where to start when it came to potential therapies. Sensory Kids put a quick end to our worries. Enrolling our Daughter in Speech and OT with Natalie and Teresa has been a Godsend for our family. The amount of growth we have seen is absolutely incredible!
