Stanford Youth Solutions and Sierra Forever Families officially merged in July 2019. Both organizations had complementary missions and operations, and had extensive history of collaborating to provide services and supports to youth and families. Now, Stanford Sierra Youth & Families (SSYAF), is a well-established nonprofit agency that has proudly served our community for a combined total of 150 years. The merging of our organizations has resulted in the ability to provide the highest quality of comprehensive services and a greater continuum of care for youth and families, who need specialized services that address mental health, juvenile justice, foster care and adoptions, post permanency, and family support services. As a merged organization, we serve 6,000 youth and their families throughout Northern California in 5 different locations (Sacramento, Citrus Heights, Woodland, Grass Valley and Placerville)
