The Radiology Technologist (RT) coordinates and performs a wide variety of vascular diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations. The individual is responsible for all aspects of assisting during angiographic procedures as it pertains to acquiring the necessary imaging to safely perform an intervention. The individual may assist other members of the procedure team to ensure the safety and well-being of the patients.

The individual may assist in the performance of angiographic and other vascular procedures and support the angiography team’s diagnostic and procedural imaging services. The individual is responsible for all duties related to imaging patient care, data management, inventory control and other related duties necessary.

The individual demonstrates proficiency when working with Picture Archiving and Communicating Systems (PACS) to transmit, archive and retrieve digital images and demonstrate knowledge of and complies with all Federal, State, and local regulatory requirements.
