My name is Connor Drislane and I am the Clinical Director at our Millville office. I began working for Aquacare in 2018 when I moved from upstate New York to start my career after graduating from Ithaca College. For me, when searching for a company to start my career with, there were three significant pillars that I valued: mentorship, growth opportunity, and expertise. I was fortunate enough to fulfill one of my clinical rotation requirements with Aquacare during the graduate portion of my education, which began my mentorship process. Aquacare is unique in that they have a vast number of therapists and support staff who have remained with the company for 10+ years, providing new graduates and new hires a surrounding setting of clinical and office staff with expertise, knowledge, and skill, not to mention the fact that many clinical staff are specialized in a variety of specialties. As I began my career, I spent time learning not only the clinical realm of physical therapy, but the business procedures, ideals, and technicalities as well. Just over two years after beginning my career as a staff PT, I was awarded a professional and career growth opportunity to be promoted to Clinical Director at one of our Delaware locations. At Aquacare we pride ourselves on our ability to treat our patients one-on-one, which provides the therapist the ability to always offer their patients their undivided attention, allowing for them to receive the best care available to them. This is something that was the heart and soul of Aquacare as a family-run, family-first company, and something that upper management has stood by in the three years that I’ve spent here, despite adversity within the profession itself. Because of the time we are able to spend with our patients, the skill and knowledge of our therapists, and the positive rehabilitative environment that we provide, our clinics have quickly grown a strong following within our communities. We take pride in the efforts that our staff and management make to be a positive influence in all our surrounding areas and strive to be leaders in our field.
