Fox chapel oral surgery has been in existence for over 35 years.

Dr. Edmonds remains well respected with his peers and within the community. He has been nominated as a top Doctor in his field consistently, for the last five years! He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine with honors. His formal training in his field was at a level three trauma center at Allegheny General Hospital. His main rotations consisted of surgery, medicine, and trauma and his last year there he functioned as a chief resident overseeing 3-4 residents at any given time. He was always looked upon very favorably by them and by his mentor, Dr Guy Catone.
The practice has remained very reliable and busy that entire time. As time went on, he is now focused mainly on the insertion of implants for which he keeps current by attending conferences and training sessions consistently. Dr. Edmonds is also part of the Honorary Chalmers J. Lyons Society for which only a select few of surgeons are nominated.

His practice involves consistent teaching and training those employed by him. He is always open to keeping his staff adequately trained in current changes in this highly specialized field of surgical dentistry. The patients who he sees involve many complex maladies, so those employed get to see and be a part of treating varied symptomatology. It is a one doctor practice so it is easy to focus on his needs, rather than try to accommodate multiple doctors daily.
