We are located inside of the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore on the Platte River. We rent out tubes, canoes, kayaks, etc for people to go down the river in. We also have a gift shop and a grill/ice cream. You would have the opportunity to work in any of these areas, whether it be signing people up, selling them a t-shirt, scooping an ice cream cone, or launching the people in the river. It is a fun environment to work in, we employ around 70 people and the age range is 14-75 (mostly high school and college kids). We have tons of staff parties and river trips throughout the year so everyone gets to know each other and have a fun time! You'll meet people from all over the world (customers and staff). There are tons of skills you can gain from working here, such as, time management, effective communication, conflict management, teamwork skills, interpersonal skills, problem-solving, productivity & organization, work ethic, leadership, and so much more. This may even be a good internship opportunity for college students! We have some of the best staff and would love to make you apart of our team! **We also have housing opportunities if you would like to move here for the summer**
