We operate a growing group of veterinary practices with a commitment to providing happy and fulfilling work environments for pet care professionals. We started Vet’s Best Friend in 2019 on the simple principle of taking care of other people – our mission ‘to take care of the people who take care of our pets’ is the foundation of our entire business.

For years we watched as veterinary hospitals sold to major corporations and lost control of the legacy they spent a lifetime building, so we built VBF to be the exact opposite of this approach. Unlike major corporations, when our team purchases hospitals our main priority is to provide happy and fulfilling work environments while keeping cultures intact! Our commitment to wellbeing for all employees is truly unmatched. Every practice is different. We care about each and every member of our team and have tailored our entire company structure to tailor the unique needs of all of our hospitals.

Today we operate mostly small animal general practice veterinary hospitals from Maine to Florida. Our practices offer veterinary care and in some cases boarding and grooming services as well.
