Gladstone Psychiatry and Wellness is a new psychiatry and counseling center with a chief mission of providing quality psychiatric care for Maryland residents who want to use their insurance benefits.

Our small team of experienced psychiatrists is dedicated to spending as much time as patients need to have their issues understood. First appointments with a psychiatrist are typically one hour long; follow-up visits are thirty-minutes. If needed, a nurse-specialist handles coordination of care between a patient’s primary care doctor, pharmacist, insurance company, and designated family members.

Even though we prescribe medications, we see treatment for mental health and addiction problems as including many things beyond medicine. Building resilience requires attention to and perhaps changes to one’s lifestyle along with counseling and psychotherapy. Recovery often involves repairing significant personal relationships, and support is key from family and friends. We work to develop a treatment plan that includes these things and makes sense to both patient and provider.
