Sundance Trail has a special quality…The moment you arrive, you’ll feel it. The feeling is “home.” We are a small guest ranch (guest capacity 24) near Red Feather Lakes (37 miles northwest of Fort Collins). We border Roosevelt National Forest and sit at 8000 feet. All staff, cooks, wranglers and housekeepers are here to serve our guests and to help them to relax, have fun and to make memories that will last a lifetime.

If you love the outdoors, meeting new people, working as a team, and have a willing attitude to do what it takes to make each of our guests feel right at home Sundance Trail may be the place for you. We encourage all staff to eat with our guests. Meals are served family style. This is a time of fellowship and of course story-telling. We also encourage our staff to take breaks to enjoy the ranch. During breaks staff may tack up a horse and go for a ride, take a hike, join in with any guest activity, or enjoy one of the many hammocks.

Sundance Trail is open year-round. Summer is Dude ranch season and most ranch positions are from May through September. However, we offer each employee the opportunity to choose their precise employment dates.
