Alvarez Construction Company, one of Louisiana's largest production home builders, was founded in 1991 by the late Jairo Alvarez. Alvarez led an inspirational life of hard work, vision, and courage, building the company from the ground up together with his family. Often, a customer who buys one home in an Alvarez community will seek out another Alvarez-built home when they need to relocate or right size their home. In addition to building hundreds of homes each year, this family-owned and operated business has helped raise millions of dollars for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital through building the St. Jude Dream Home.
