Join the ARCC Team

For 46 years, ARCC’s programs have helped to keep at-risk youth safe, in school, and drug- and violence-free. Alum Rock Counseling Center serves over 9,000 youth and their families a year, and currently has nearly 85 full-time employees as well as many volunteers and mentors, with close to 80% of direct services staff being culturally and linguistically reflective of the community in East San Jose. ARCC strives for cultural competency of the staff with similar backgrounds and experiences that they share with clients served by the agency. Although, there are other non-profit organizations providing mental health & specialized educational support services to Santa Clara County residents, ARCC is the only agency that serves youth (ages 0-19) with a specific focus on the East/Central San José area, serving a high percentage (approximately 70%) of Latino, immigrant, and monolingual clients in the region.

Mission

To deliver a full complement of behavioral health services to youth, their families and individuals in the neighborhoods we serve throughout Santa Clara County. We do so with a deep commitment to respect and reflect the cultural and linguistic diversity of our clients. Partnerships are essential to our success and we will continue to build lasting connections with local schools, mental and physical healthcare systems and other providers.
