The Seminole County Public School System, located approximately 20 miles north of Orlando, Florida, continues to be an “A”-rated and academically high performing school district as rated by the Florida Department of Education. This K-12 school district is comprised of 69 schools with an enrollment of approximately 67,000 students, who are supported by 9,328 employees. The district has an overall annual operating budget of approximately $554 million dollars. A diverse student population is enrolled in a wide variety of educational programs that include district-wide and cluster magnet programs at all levels. These unique programs include but are not limited to Math, Science and Fine Arts magnets, as well as an Academy of Information Technology, Health Careers, and an International Baccalaureate program.
