HISTORY
Tails of Hope, Inc. was born from a love of animals and service to our community. During his lifetime, Thomas M. O’Brien greatly loved and appreciated the joy his beloved pets brought to his life. In 2015, a handful of committed volunteers formed Tails of Hope, Inc. In November 2016, a spay neuter clinic opened at the Thomas M. O’Brien Animal Care Center at 2450 Hoezle Road in Hermitage PA to fulfill its mission. It would give him great pleasure to know that in his name, animals and families are given an opportunity to share their lives and affection with each other in a meaningful way and that the community is benefitting by this Organization.

VISION
Tails of Hope, Inc. believes the world will be a better place when it values and ensures the well-being of companion animals, treating them with kindness and compassion.

PURPOSE
Tails of Hope, Inc.exists to eliminate neglect, abuse and suffering of animals resulting in improved overall quality of animal life.

MISSION
Tails of Hope, Inc. strives to impact pet over-population through spay/neuter programs, and support of rescue, rehabilitation, adoption and education.
