Company Philosophy
In accordance with the Lanterman Act (Welfare and Institutions Code, Divisions 4.1, 4.5, and 4.7), the SLS philosophy of ABHC is built on the foundation of Five Principles of Supported Living:

3. Choice and Self-Direction
4. Community Involvement
5. Individualized Services and Support
To achieve these principles, the Company will develop a transition plan for each client. In conjunction with the client and individual program planning team, ABHC will create an individual program plan that identifies specific services and supports necessary to, not only transition the client into the community, but also to maintain a social environment, community oriented life, and a network of critical and durable relationships. The individualized plan will ensure accordance with California Code of Regulations (CCR) Title 17, §58632:
? Significant changes in the needs and preferences of the client are reflected in the SLS component of the consumer's IPP.
? Supports and services remain responsive to the client’s needs and preferences
? Risks of endangerment to health, safety, and well-being are minimized.
