2) Professionalism– while our style as a team might be easy going, our attitude towards our work is extremely professional — we maintain the highest standards at our hospital.
3) Client Service– our clients are pet parents that desire and expect exceptional quality veterinary care. We have been American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) accredited since 1979. AAHA mandates care standards that we follow. Unlike human hospitals, accreditation in veterinary hospitals is voluntary. Only about 12% of veterinary clinics are AAHA accredited in North America.
4) Accountability– mistakes will happen. It is vital to accept feedback and to learn from it.
5) A Healthy Work-Life Balance–it is a professional responsibility to maintain a healthy work-life balance. Compassion fatigue is a risk in the helping profession and it mustn’t be ignored.
