This team possesses outstanding leadership skills and works tirelessly in concert with the board to address community needs through the expansion of programs and services, as well as investing in high-tech equipment.
SAMC serves approximately 600,000 people, offering a full range of healthcare services at its main campus in Dothan, with the exception of burns and transplants. Services include family-centered women's care, advanced cardiovascular and cancer treatments, comprehensive pain management services, 24/7 neurosurgery coverage, urology services, wound care, rehabilitative and neuromuscular services, primary care, prenatal and pediatric services, state-of-the-art surgical procedures, and more.
Several of SAMC’s major service lines have branched out into rural communities, with physicians traveling each week providing clinics in urological, cancer, neurosurgery and other services. SAMC has further extended its reach through numerous affiliated facilities, including primary care offices, Home Health Care, Advanced Home Medical Equipment, the VA Clinic, and the Women's Center Boutique which offers the services of the region’s only nationally certified prostheses fitters.
