Twenty licensed beds provide inpatient and surgical patients the privacy needed to recover while allowing our highly-trained and experienced staff the privilege of delivering compassionate, innovative care. Our medical/surgical unit is also home to our swing bed program, which provides comprehensive, hospital-based skilled care and rehabilitation. The swing bed program is designed to help if you are no longer in need of acute care in a hospital, but still need skilled care before returning home. Stays are anticipated to be short-term and can be utilized for a variety of conditions. Even if you have received inpatient care or surgery at another hospital, you can choose Eaton Rapids Medical Center for swing bed care. ERMC also offers 24-hour laboratory, radiology and emergency services.

Our emergency department, designed for privacy, comfort, and personal attention, features ten private rooms, a decontamination room, two trauma rooms, an isolation room and a family quiet room. Patients enjoy the convenience of being triaged, registered and treated in a private room, equipped with comfortable furnishings and flat screen televisions.

The experienced family care professionals at our two rural health clinics specialize in care for your entire family. Springport Medical Clinic is located at 400 E. Main, Suite 200 in Springport. Family Practice & Redicare, located within ERMC, is also a certified walk-in clinic for when unexpected health concerns arise.

Physicians come from the Lansing and Jackson areas to hold a variety of specialty clinics at ERMC. Cardiology, gastroenterology, orthopedics, gynecology and ophthalmology are just a few of the specialties offered. A sleep center, nuclear medicine services, wide-bore MRI and CT are among the many diagnostic tools available in Eaton Rapids. HealthWorks, our fitness and rehabilitation center, offers a whole-body approach to wellness. During the summer months, our weekly farmers market promotes healthier eating habits among hospital employees and the community while supporting local merchants.
