Our veterinary history was started by J. Porter Coble, DVM in 1941 when he opened Coble Animal Hospital. Now Dr. Franklin Coble and 5 other veterinarians continue to bring award winning service to the Springfield area for pet care. We have two convenient locations and our VETS2GO service that brings our doctors right to your front door. Sangamon Avenue Veterinary Clinic was added in 1985.

Over the past 80 years we have worked hard to provide the latest in veterinary medicine. Our facilities have the newest digital radiography, newest ultrasound equipment and newest laser technology in Springfield. We also have a fully stocked pharmacy and a complete on-site laboratory that enables us to get valuable diagnostic information when your pet is sick or injured and start treatment much quicker than waiting for outside labs.

?We have been accredited members of the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) since 1947. Only 2% of the hospitals in the United States have met the standards of excellence to achieve this accreditation.

Howliday Inn & Suites Luxury Boarding was added to our Sangamon location during the recent facility addition and remodeling. Come in and take a tour anytime.
