Compliance Analyst

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Compliance Analyst to join their team. As a Compliance Analyst, you will be an integral part of the Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) department supporting various compliance and risk management initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will enable you to thrive within a dynamic and inclusive environment.

Job Title: Compliance Analyst

Location: Jersey City, NJ

What's the Job?

• Support strategic GRC initiatives and ongoing business-as-usual activities within a fast-paced financial environment
• Design and execute detailed User Acceptance Testing (UAT) test cases and scripts based on project requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Compliance, Risk, Technology, and vendor partners to support system implementations and operational readiness
• Perform comprehensive data analysis, validation, and reconciliation across various datasets to ensure regulatory compliance
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions to facilitate data-driven decision-making

What's Needed?

• 57+ years of experience in business analysis, data analytics, or product management within financial services or banking
• Experience supporting GRC, risk, compliance, or audit programs is highly preferred
• Proficiency with Power BI or similar BI tools for reporting and analytics
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work with complex datasets and reconciliations
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience working across multiple teams and priorities
