The Applicant Tracking Compliance Coordinator plays a key role in advancing MEDIKO’s mission by ensuring that every correctional healthcare site is staffed with qualified, mission-driven professionals. This position goes beyond administrative support — it is responsible for sourcing, screening, and coordinating the full-cycle recruitment process for clinical and non-clinical roles across multiple regions. The Recruiting Specialist partners closely with hiring managers and HR leadership to build strong candidate pipelines, improve time-to-fill metrics, and deliver an exceptional candidate experience from first contact through onboarding.

How YOU can Make an Impact:

Recruitment & Talent Sourcing

Manage day-to-day activity within the ATS, including creating requisitions, posting jobs, and maintaining accurate candidate records

Review applications for completeness and ensure proper dispositioning throughout the hiring lifecycle

Coordinate candidate workflow stages, including interview scheduling, communication, and offer processing

Ensure compliance with company policies and federal/state employment regulations within the ATS

Maintain data integrity by auditing records, correcting discrepancies, and standardizing processes

Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to ensure timely movement of candidates through the pipeline

Generate and analyze recruiting reports (time-to-fill, pipeline status, requisition aging, etc.)

Support onboarding processes by ensuring candidate data is accurately transferred to HR systems

Troubleshoot ATS issues and serve as a point of contact for system-related questions

Continuously identify opportunities to improve ATS efficiency and user experience

Qualifications

1–3+ years of experience in recruiting coordination, HR support, or ATS administration

Hands-on experience with an applicant tracking system (e.g., Paycom, Workday, Greenhouse, iCIMS)

Strong attention to detail and data accuracy

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Ability to manage multiple requisitions and competing priorities

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel for reporting)

Knowledge of recruitment compliance requirements (EEO, OFCCP, state/federal regulations) and ability to ensure adherence within ATS processes

Preferred Skills

Experience supporting high-volume or healthcare recruiting environments

Familiarity with compliance audits, documentation requirements, and reporting standards

Experience with reporting and dashboard creation

What we Ask of YOU:

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Human Resources, Finance, Sales, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related discipline) from an accredited institution preferred.

Additional certifications or specialized training may be required depending on the function (e.g., Certified Human Resources Professional (PHR) for HR roles, Certified Public Accountant (CPA) for Finance roles, etc.).

Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in the specific functional area (e.g., HR, Finance, Sales, Marketing, Operations, etc.).

Experience in healthcare, correctional healthcare, or a regulated industry is preferred.

Demonstrated success in applying function-specific skills (e.g., employee relations for HR, financial reporting for Finance, or sales strategy for Sales) is required.

Knowledge of relevant industry-specific regulations, compliance standards, and best practices may be required, particularly for roles in highly regulated functions like HR and Finance.

Relevant industry certifications based on the role (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP, CPA, etc.).

Active CPR/BLS certificate required (American Heart Association/American Red Cross guideline approved), if role is located in a correctional facility.
