JOB SUMMARY

The Project Manager leads a team of Superintendents, Project Engineers, and Project Administrators to deliver critical projects that are safe, on time, on budget, and of the highest quality. Project Managers at Ferguson Construction are the key to operational success and are surrounded by highly motivated and focused teammates.
PROJECT MANAGER'S ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Assist in the pre-construction process
- Assist and lead the procurement process
- Generate and manage project schedules and manpower requirements
- Schedule and lead job meetings and Owner meetings
- Manage and lead all communication for the project, both internally and externally
- Manage and lead all project information, submittal, and rfi submissions.
- Manage and lead all change event activity.
- Responsible for the overall financial health of the project, including monthly variance meetings held with the operations manager and project superintendent.
- Create and maintain a high standard of trustworthy relationships for subcontractors, suppliers, and all internal staff.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, AND EDUCATION
- Bachelor's Degree - Engineering, Construction Management, or similar technical training/experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a project manager within the construction industry.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite, including MS Project
- Strong working knowledge of Procore construction management software
- Strong architectural and civil background, along with mechanical and electrical knowledge
- Ability to multitask and work on multiple projects concurrently
