Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Masters, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Active Physical Therapist license required in the state of VA prior to assignment start. (Client also lists VA_PT as required.)
- Current BLS/CPR certification from AHA or ARC required.
- No new graduates. Candidates must have more than 1 year since graduation, or if within first year must have at least 6 months of recent outpatient care experience.
- Experience in outpatient orthopedic and neuro patient populations preferred, including joint replacements, spine, balance, and stroke care.
- Experience with outpatient equipment and modalities typical to an outpatient clinic preferred (NuStep, treadmill, ergometers, parallel bars, leg press, general gym equipment).
- Travel candidates only; must reside outside 50-mile radius of facility.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with 1-on-1 treatment model and documentation workflows in outpatient settings.
- Experience scheduling and conducting 45-minute treatment sessions and 1-hour evaluations.
- Certification in specialty areas such as OCS, NDT, or other specialty certifications preferred.
Assignment Details
- Shift days: Monday through Friday.
- Typical working hours: 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
- Clinic layout: offsite outpatient annex with gym and 8 private treatment rooms.
- Treatment format: all 1-on-1 sessions; 45-minute treatment slots and 1-hour evaluations with documentation time provided.
- Patient population: ambulatory outpatient orthopedics and neurology primarily.
- Interview process: ITO interview; hiring manager will review profiles and may conduct additional interview.
