Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

18 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience worked in the last 12 months.

Experience with Meditech is preferred.

12 months of acute care experience.

ADN completion required.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license (required for submission).

Local & travel allowed. Candidates living Additional Details:

Preferred Skills/Experience:- EKG interpretation preferred.- Experience managing discharges and admissions preferred.- Basic cardiac drip knowledge preferred.

Preferred Credentials:- BSN preferred.

Unit Details:- Telemetry unit with Med/Surg overflow.- Adult and geriatric patient population.- Common diagnosis/treatment: CHF, CP, ARF, COPD, uncontrolled diabetics, CKD, post cardiac cath care.- Uses Welch Allyn V/S machine, Hoyer Lift with weight scale, Abbott Glucometer, computers on wheels, TR band, Baxter IV pumps.

Shift & Scheduling:- Every other or every third weekend.- No call.

7 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 2 years

Drivers license required

Certifications:

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)

BLS (Basic Life Support)
