Pharmacist (RPh) – Specialty Pharmacy

Location:Chandler AZ

Position Summary

A growing specialty pharmacy organization is seeking Arizona-licensed Pharmacists (RPh) to support pharmacy operations focused on patients with rare and ultra-rare disease conditions. This opportunity offers the chance to work in a specialized healthcare environment dedicated to improving access to innovative therapies and delivering exceptional patient care.

The Pharmacist will be responsible for ensuring prescription accuracy, regulatory compliance, and efficient dispensing operations while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support specialty patient populations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and verify prescription orders for accuracy, appropriateness, and compliance.
  • Support specialty pharmacy dispensing and workflow operations.
  • Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and clinical staff to ensure efficient patient service and care coordination.
  • Maintain compliance with all applicable state and federal pharmacy regulations.
  • Provide support for therapies serving specialty, rare disease, and complex patient populations.
  • Contribute to quality assurance and patient safety initiatives.

Qualifications

Required

  • Active Arizona Pharmacist (RPh) license in good standing.

Preferred

  • Experience with CPR+ pharmacy management software.
  • Specialty pharmacy experience.
  • Pediatric pharmacy experience.
  • Experience with additional pharmacy technology platforms and systems.

Schedule

  • Monday through Friday
  • Full-time schedule (5 days per week)
  • Typical shifts:
    • 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
    • 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
