A behavioral health program in Washington is seeking a Board-Certified Psychiatrist for a locum assignment beginning August 2026 due to a provider coverage gap.

Compensation:

Hourly: $240/hr
Night call: $370/hr
Call back: $295/hr

Outpatient Clinic: 1:00 PM 5:00 PM
May occasionally begin at 7:30 AM for court-related responsibilities

No current call coverage needs
Weekend coverage approximately once per quarter
Certain inpatient weekend coverage may be performed remotely if the provider resides in Washington

Locations are approximately 5 minutes apart
Adult patient population only
Provider will work independently

Clinical Responsibilities
Psychiatric evaluations and medication management
Inpatient rounding and admissions
Outpatient behavioral health care
Court-related responsibilities as needed
EMR
Epic
Requirements
MD or DO
Board Certified in Psychiatry
Active Washington license required at presentation
Washington license must be in hand (IMLC not accepted)
BLS required
Minimum 2 years of experience
Epic experience required
Case log documenting at least 100 psychiatric patient encounters within the previous 24 months required
Additional Information
Credentialing is being expedited to meet the August start date
Provider must be comfortable practicing independently
Opportunity includes a mix of inpatient and outpatient psychiatry
Optional future night call opportunities may become available if staffing needs arise
