This position is ideal for someone looking to start a career in ground stabilization. No prior experience is required – we provide on-the-job training.

Position: Laborer
Reports to: President
The Laborer will assist with daily site operations, equipment setup, material handling, and general support for our crews working on foundation stabilization and soil improvement projects.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Include, but are not limited to:
- Learn the equipment operations of drills, compressors, grout pumps, etc.
- Assist with setup and breakdown of compaction grouting equipment and job sites
- Transport and handle materials such as grout mixes, pipes, and tools
- Support grout plant and drill operators during operations
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
- Load and unload trucks and equipment
- Follow instructions from supervisors and skilled team members
- Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of tools and equipment as trained
- Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies, including the proper use of PPE
- Travel to job sites as needed (may include early mornings or occasional off-hours work)
- Assist in Inventory Management as Necessary
- Assist in Project Coordination and Logistics as Necessary
- Be an Ambassador and Advocate for the Company
Qualifications and Other Skills and Abilities:
- No experience required; mechanical skills or experience is preferred
- Excellent problem resolution skills
- Ability to be flexible with tasks on hand
- Ability to prioritize
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Ability to work as part of a team in a small crew environment
- Must be comfortable working in varying weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen
- OSHA 30 certification (company will provide training if not currently certified)
Essential Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
- Ability to work in an environment which may include fumes, odors, chemicals, sawdust, and ash
- Ability to work extended hours on a consistent basis if needed. Up to 14 hours per day
- Ability to work in an environment with noises in the range of 30-85 dB
- Ability to lift or push up to one hundred (100) pounds, or in excess thereof, with the use of proper equipment or assistance
- Ability to lift a minimum of fifty (50) pounds
- Ability to use hand tools safely
- Ability to use electric tools safely
- Ability to walk up and down steps, climb ladders, staging, and scaffolding and on uneven ground
- Ability to bend, twist, reach, stretch, and work in tight spaces
- Ability to drive a motor vehicle
Candidates must be reliable and professional with a can-do attitude. Must have a strong work ethic, a professional appearance and demeanor, and a good overall knowledge of all trades.
