Job Title: Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LISW / LPCC / IMFT)
Location: Massilon Ohio
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Position Type: Long-Term Contract
Work Setting: Juvenile/Behavioral Health Services
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LISW, LPCC, or IMFT) for a long-term opportunity working with adolescents in a behavioral health and juvenile services setting. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting youth through individual and group therapy services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide group therapy sessions for youth with court orders or clinically assessed behavioral health needs.
• Conduct individual one-on-one therapy sessions for assigned youth on the mental health caseload.
• Develop and maintain accurate clinical documentation, treatment notes, and progress reports.
• Provide clinical summaries, updates, and recommendations to the Behavioral Health Services Supervisor and treatment team.
• Monitor youth progress, identify barriers to treatment goals, and recommend appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate closely with behavioral health staff and interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care and effective service delivery.
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and professional standards of practice.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Must hold an active independent mental health license in the State of Ohio:
- Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW)
- Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
- Independent Marriage and Family Therapist (IMFT)
• Experience providing both group and individual therapy services to adolescents required.
• Previous experience working with justice-system involved youth or within correctional/juvenile settings strongly preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills required.
Additional Information:
• Candidates may be required to work holidays if they fall during the work week.
• Occasional weekend coverage may be required based on facility needs.
• This is a full-time, long-term contract opportunity with consistent scheduling.
