WE ARE SEEKING TO HIRE SEVERAL PROPOERTY MANAGERS TO OVERSEE BUILIDINGS LOCATED IN NYC!

Must have expericec with NYC local laws.

Property Manager Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and direction to team and onsite staff. 

  • Understand financial goals and operate the building with the owner's best interest and according to the annual budget.

  • Ensure all administrative work is completed correctly and in a timely manner. 

  • Weekly property inspections to ensure cleanliness, compliance with City regulations, local laws and standard operating procedures

  • Review monthly rent billing and monitor collections efforts.  

  • Ensure repair and maintenance requests are completed to company standard. 

  • Procure bids and schedule large repair jobs.

  • Oversee on-site staff. 

  • Work with L&T attorneys on all cases.

  • Review and approve all lease renewals. 

  • Review and process invoices for payment. 

  • Primary support for on-site emergencies when necessary.

  • Ensure property is in compliance with various city, state and related governmental agency requirements (e.g. Violation tracking and removal, bed bug reporting, etc.)

  • Monitor building services and schedule preventative maintenance.

  • Report any problems or issues to the Senior Property Manager

  • Efficiently manage workload by establishing objectives, setting priorities and meeting deadlines

  • Represent and communicate clearly and accurately, in person, over the phone and in email/writing.

  • Enforce property rules and regulations.

  • Participate and contribute to all training and development. 

Qualifications, Characteristics & Other:

  • Minimum 4+ years of NYC property management experience

  • Experience with AppFolio or similar management software

  • Supervisory skills needed

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Ability to build rapport with tenants

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Punctual/Reliable/Professional

  • Positive attitude

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Proactive vs reactive

  • Strong overall character

Supervise in office employees, as well as remote workers from the Philliphines.

Work in the NYC office 9:00a.m. - 5:00p.m. (after 90 days of employment work from home on Fridays, as assignment may permit)
