We are seeking a dedicated, organized, and empathetic Recruiter and ABA Intake Professional to join our team in Brooklyn. In this dual-focused role, you will be responsible for sourcing and onboarding high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) providers (such as BCBAs, LBAs, and Behavior Technicians/RBTs) while simultaneously managing the initial intake process for families seeking services. You will serve as the primary point of contact for both prospective talent and families, ensuring a seamless, welcoming, and efficient onboarding experience from day one.

Key Responsibilities 1. Talent Acquisition & Recruiting
  • Source & Recruit: Actively source, recruit, and headhunt qualified ABA professionals (BCBAs, LBAs, RBTs, and BTs) via job boards, social media, networking events, and cold outreach.

  • Screen & Interview: Conduct initial phone screens and interviews to assess candidate qualifications, cultural fit, and alignment with client needs.

  • Credentialing & Compliance: Guide candidates through the hiring pipeline, ensuring all healthcare credentials, background checks, certifications, and reference checks are completed thoroughly and compliantly.

  • Pipeline Management: Maintain an active talent pipeline to quickly fulfill staffing needs across our Brooklyn cases.

2. Client Intake & Onboarding
  • First Point of Contact: Respond to incoming inquiries from families, pediatricians, and care coordinators seeking ABA services.

  • Intake Assessment: Conduct initial intake calls to gather necessary patient demographics, insurance information, clinical history, and prescription details.

  • Insurance Verification: Coordinate with our billing/authorization department to assist in verifying insurance coverage and obtaining initial authorizations for evaluations.

  • Case Matching: Work closely with the scheduling and clinical teams to match newly accepted clients with appropriate, available ABA providers in their specific Brooklyn neighborhoods.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in healthcare recruiting, medical intake, or case management. Experience specifically within an ABA or autism services environment is highly preferred.

  • Knowledge: Familiarity with ABA terminology, provider roles (BCBA, LBA, RBT), and general healthcare compliance.

  • Skills: Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills; ability to speak with families with high empathy and professionalism.

  • Organization: Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced staffing environment.

  • Tech Savvy: Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, and Microsoft Office / Google Workspace.

Benefits
  • Competitive hourly pay ($20–$30/hr, negotiable based on experience)

  • Health, dental, and vision insurance options

  • Paid Time Off (PTO) and paid holidays

  • Career growth opportunities within a rapidly expanding healthcare staffing agency
