Software Developer-SME

GovCIO is currently hiring for a Software Developer-SME to design, code, test, and maintain software applicions and systems in support of the Naval Criminal Investigive Service. This position will be loced in Quantico, VA, and will be a hybrid position within the United Stes.

Builds and codes applicions and/or modules using languages such as PL/SQL, C++, visual basic, ABAP, JAVA, XTML, etc. Provides pches and upgrades to existing systems. Involved in planning of system and development deployment as well as responsible for meeting software compliance standards. May design graphical user interface (GUI) to meet the specific needs of users. Prepares opering instructions, compiles documention of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input da acquisition, programming techniques, and controls. May build add-on modules using applicion program language.

• Designs and codes applicions following specificions using the approprie tools.
• Maintains and modifies existing software applicions.
• Analyzes detailed systems factors, including input and output requirements, informion flow, hardware and software requirements, and alternive methods of problem resolution.
• Performs modificions to and maintenance of operional programs and procedures.
• Participes in code reviews to represent reviewed work for adherence to standards and specificions.
• Writes or revises program documention, operions documention and user guides in accordance with standards.

High School with 10+ years (or commensure experience)

Required Skills and Experience

• Clearance Required: SECRET

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Possess expert knowledge in reading/writing PL/SQL code.
• Have intamite knowledge of the NCIS Case Management System applicion.
• Have experience working on Department of Navy networks.
