GovCIO is currently hiring for an SME RPA Applicion Developer to provide stregic guidance, technical leadership, and handson development of robotic process automion solutions supporting U.S. Coast Guard (USCG). This position will be loced in Alexandria, VA, and will be a hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

As an RPA Applicion Developer (SME), you will design, build, modernize, and maintain automion capabilities th streamline missioncritical business processes. Responsibilities include:

  • Provide stregic input and SMElevel leadership for RPA solution architecture, design, development, modificion, and sustainment.
  • Collabore with Mission Partner stakeholders to gher, analyze, and transle requirements into functional RPA applicions.
  • Leverage RPA tools, frameworks, and reusable components to rapidly develop scalable automions aligned with organizional objectives.
  • Execute the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) using methodologies such as Scrum, Agile, Lean, XP, DevOps, DevSecOps, FeureDriven Development, Werfall, Prototype, and DSDM.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integrion, deployment, configurion, vulnerability, and functional defect issues.
  • Apply coding standards, documention best practices, and quality controls to minimize technical debt and ensure maintainability.
  • Ensure all RPA applicions meet system security, compliance, and accredition requirements.
  • Support decommissioning activities and retirement of RPA components when required.
  • Develop and maintain the Software Lifecycle Management Plan (SLMP) and reled Software Product Documention, including updes throughout project execution.
Qualificions:

High School with 10+ years (or commensure experience)

Required Skills and Experience

  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II certificion (Security+ CE, CySA+, CCNA Security).
  • Demonstred experience designing, developing, and sustaining enterprisegrade RPA solutions.
  • Proficiency in leading RPA plforms and automion frameworks (UiPh, Blue Prism, Automion Anywhere, or similar).
  • Experience applying SDLC methodologies across complex automion initiives.
  • Strong skills in workflow analysis, process modeling, and automion architecture.
  • Experience in secure software development aligned with cybersecurity and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to troubleshoot integrion issues, optimize performance, and maintain stable automion environments.
  • Strong communicion skills with the ability to collabore with stakeholders and present technical recommendions.
  • Ability to support missioncritical modernizion efforts in fastpaced operional environments.

Clearance Required: Active Secret clearance

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Experience supporting U.S. Coast Guard or DHS programs
    Familiarity with enterprise automion governance, lowcode plforms, or DevSecOps pipeline.s
  • Experience with process optimizion, continuous improvement, or workflow engineering.
  • Strong analytical mindset and commitment to quality and automion best practices.
