JOB TITLE: Class A Driver

DEPARTMENT: Logistics

COMPENSATION: Starting at $30 per hour. Plus Cell Phone Reimbursement. Company Credit Card for fuel

LOCATION: Woodridge, IL

Expectation Overview:

NexTerra Wine Company is the 28th largest Winery in the United States specializing in innovative private label production. Our driver team delivers wine orders to our customers and distributor partners across IL, IN, and WI.

The Class A Driver position will be primarily responsible for loading, transporting, and delivering pallets of wine to the distributors and restaurants in IL, WI, and IN. All routes are day routes, no overnight trips. Deliveries are full-pallet drops using powered pallet jacks and liftgates.

In addition to route duties, the driver position supports the warehouse team when needed by assisting on the loading dock, helping to fulfill orders, and general cleaning duties. This position is located at our winery in Woodridge, IL (1-55 & 1-355 intersection).

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Load and unload delivery trucks
• Transport materials from vendors to our winery
• Deliver wine to local distributors and restaurants as needed
• Light warehouse duties
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Maintain a clean work area, both in the truck and warehouse

Requirements:

• Class A CDL required
• Good driving record required (NexTerra will perform a background check, MVR check, and DOT eligibility or certification is required)
• DOT Certification / Current Medical Cert
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Experience operating powered pallet jacks and liftgates a strong plus

Physical Job Functions:

· Must be able to lift at least up to 50 lbs routinely

· Must be able to sit and drive for at least 8-10 hours

· Must be able to work in an outdoors environment
