Pediatric ER Registered Nurse (RN) – Extra Shift Opportunity
Location: Newark, NJ
Shift: Night Shift, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
Commitment: Minimum 4 shifts per month (about 1 shift per week)
Pay: $59 - $61 per hour
ATC Healthcare is hiring experienced Pediatric Emergency Room Registered Nurses (RNs) looking to pick up extra shifts in Newark, NJ. This is an excellent opportunity for nurses seeking flexible per diem work while earning additional income in a fast-paced pediatric emergency setting.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1.5 years of Pediatric ER experience required
- Active New Jersey RN License or Compact License
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- ITTC (De-escalation training) required
- EPIC charting experience required
- Must be willing to float within skillset as needed
Clinical Experience Needed:
- Pediatric emergency care experience
- Cardiac monitoring and interpretation of 12-lead EKGs and dysrhythmias
- Management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure
- IV therapy and central line care
- Isolation precautions and PPE compliance
- Ventilator management preferred
- PICU experience preferred
