Licensed Psychiatric Technician

Job description:

We are hiring a Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) for a correctional facility setting.

Schedule & Shift timings:

• Sat - Wed, 1 pm - 9:30 am (Per Diem)
• Wed - Sun,  5:30 am - 2:00 pm (Per Diem)

Responsibilities:

• Provide basic psychiatric and behavioral care to patients
• Administer medications, monitor vitals, and document care
• Observe and report changes in patient condition
• Assist with treatment plans and participate in team meetings
• Support group/individual therapy and maintain a safe environment

Requirements:

• Active California LPT License
• BLS certification (AHA)
