As a Cook / Kitchen Manager, you will have the opportunity to showcase your culinary skills while working in a supportive and caring environment.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Plan and prepare menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our residents
• Create visually appealing plate presentations
• Utilize scratch cooking techniques to prepare meals from fresh ingredients
• Food handling and preparation
• Manage the line cooking process efficiently
• Stocking condiments, required foods, and paper products
• Food and Truck order and inventory

Required Skills:

• Experience in menu planning and execution
• Strong knowledge of cooking, recipes, and food service
• Ability to maintain portion control and ensure food quality
• Experience in cooking an American style menu food selection
• Maintaining compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
• Communication and teamwork

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience in batch cooking and a la carte service
• Knowledge of sauce making, soup making, salad preparation, and meal preparation in serving
• Experience in food inventory and ordering
