Associate Veterinarian

Introduction
Our client is a privately owned, AAHA-accredited small animal hospital with an excellent reputation and outstanding Google reviews, seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. The clinic provides high-quality care to dogs and cats and is known for its strong client relationships and standard of medicine.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open weekdays from 8:30am to 7:00pm, closing at 6:00pm on Fridays, and operates Saturdays from 8:30am to 1:00pm. This is a full-time position with a 4-day work week and 1 in 4 Saturdays, with some flexibility in scheduling.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This position involves full-scope General Practice responsibilities, including conducting consultations, diagnosing and treating medical conditions, performing routine and advanced surgical procedures, and delivering high-quality preventive and wellness care. The role requires a confident and compassionate DVM who is comfortable managing a varied caseload and collaborating closely with the wider clinical team. This opportunity is suited to veterinarians with at least 1 year of experience.

Practice Details
The hospital is AAHA accredited and equipped with digital x-ray, dental and general x-ray, lasers, in-house labs, and a class 4 ultrasound. It operates with three exam rooms and has plans to expand by an additional 2-3 rooms. The practice also has access to an advanced orthopaedic specialist and a cardiologist who come in as needed. Services offered include dentistry, surgery, laser therapy, end-of-life care, sick and urgent care, and ultrasound.

Team
The team consists of 3 full-time DVMs and 1 part-time DVM, supported by 12 technicians, as well as multiple assistants and reception staff, creating a well-supported and collaborative working environment.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so

Salary up to $190,000 (Annual)

• Base + production $160k-$190k base plus production on top (DOE)
• $15,000 sign-on bonus + $15,000 retention bonus after 2 years
