Vice President of Operations

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for meeting the company's financial goals related to production and operational performance.
• Lead and drive continuous improvement initiatives and enterprise-wide cost reduction efforts.
• Contribute to the strategic planning process, supporting low-cost manufacturing initiatives and new business development activities.
• Ensure effective procurement strategies and procedures are implemented and followed, while optimizing inventory levels to minimize on-hand materials and maintain customer delivery commitments.
• Develop and manage departmental operating, staffing, and capital budgets aligned with both immediate business needs and long-term organizational objectives.
• Implement process improvements that maintain and enhance production technology and operational capabilities to support current and future industry demands.
• Serve as the operational leader for shop floor productivity, leveraging company resources and methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma to improve manufacturing efficiency and performance.
• Promote and maintain Configuration Management as a key organizational priority to support inventory accuracy and asset management.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree (B.S. or B.A.) required; advanced degree preferred.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills are essential.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience managing complex operational environments.
• Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and strong relationship-building abilities required for success in this role.
• Proven ability to analyze data, evaluate outcomes, and make informed operational decisions based on experience and insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
