Are you passionate about providing exceptional care to pets and their families? Stonebrook Family Pet Clinic, an AAHA-accredited veterinary clinic located in Frisco, Texas, is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Technician to join our team.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Provide small animal care with compassion and expertise
• Assist doctors with exams, diagnostics, and treatments
• Monitor anesthesia and ensure patient safety
• Implement Fear Free techniques to reduce stress and anxiety in patients
• Assist with preventive care procedures
• Provide care for hospitalized and critical patients
• Perform IV catheter placement and venipuncture
• Administer medications and provide critical care as needed
• Assist with surgeries, ultrasound, radiology, internal medicine, and emergency care
• Coordinate discharge planning and educate clients on post-care instructions

Required Skills:

• Minimum 4 years of veterinary technician experience in a clinical setting
• Strong technical skills including venipuncture, catheter placement, patient restraint, and anesthesia monitoring
• Strong understanding of animal welfare and compassionate care
• Proficiency in IV catheter placement, venipuncture, and medication administration
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Compassionate, positive, and professional attitude

Preferred Qualifications:

• Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT/RVT/CVT) preferred
• Experience in ultrasound, internal medicine, and emergency care
• Knowledge of discharge planning, critical care, and triage
• Laboratory experience and proficiency in surgical assistance
• Fear Free Certified or willingness to become certified

Hourly Range: $24 - $27
