CERTIFIED OPHTHALMIC TECHNCIAN

New Hyde Park Ophthalmology practice is currently seeking a qualified ophthalmic technician.

COA or COT certification required.

Our practice provides comprehensive services including the evaluation of eye disease, medical eye care and cataract and refractive surgery.

We are looking for a highly motivated and responsible individual with good technical and interpersonal skills.  The qualified candidate will have 1-5 years’ experience and will be assisting 4 Ophthalmologists by performing patient history, conducting initial eye exams and documenting findings.

Experience using HRT, IOL Master, and Corneal Topographer

MUST BE ABLE TO MANUALLY REFRACT WITH NEGATIVE CYLINDER.
