Position Overview
The Bilingual Construction Operations Associate plays a vital role in supporting daily business operations, project coordination, client communications, estimating support, scheduling, and administrative management. This position serves as a central point of communication between clients, subcontractors, supervisors, and internal staff.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, resourceful, professional, and thrives in a fast-paced construction environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate communication between clients, subcontractors, vendors, and project supervisors.
- Assist with project estimating, proposal preparation, and bid documentation.
- Manage incoming calls, emails, and customer inquiries professionally.
- Schedule meetings, site visits, inspections, and project milestones.
- Support project tracking, document control, and contract administration.
- Maintain accurate project records and databases.
- Follow up on permits, insurance certificates, subcontractor documentation, and compliance requirements.
- Assist management with operational and administrative initiatives.
- Help ensure projects progress smoothly and efficiently.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, or a related field.
- Fluent in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in construction administration, project coordination, operations, estimating, or a related professional environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional demeanor with strong client-service skills.
Preferred
- Experience in construction, architecture, engineering, property management, or a related industry.
- Familiarity with project management and estimating software.
- Knowledge of construction terminology, contracts, and project coordination processes.
