Construction Superintendent - Structural Concrete

The Role

We’re hiring a Superintendent to run day-to-day field execution on structural concrete projects. This role is the on-site leader who turns plans into reality—owning safety, sequencing, quality, and production.

This is a leadership role. You’ll partner closely with the Field Operations Manager and Project Managers. You own the field.

Must be able to communicate in both English and Spanish.

Responsibilities You’ll Own 

• Lead daily jobsite operations: planning, sequencing, crew direction, and production targets
• Drive a proactive safety culture: daily safety focus, hazard identification, and corrective action
• Coordinate subcontractors, inspections, deliveries, and equipment to keep work flowing
• Maintain quality standards: layout verification, formwork/rebar readiness, pour prep, and punch completion
• Communicate clearly with foremen, crews, subs—no surprises
• Track progress and constraints; escalate risks early with solutions
• Keep the site organized and professional: cleanliness, signage, access, and logistics
• Document key field updates: daily reports, photos, RFIs/field questions, and as-builts as needed

What Success Looks Like 

• Establish strong field rhythm: daily plan, weekly look-ahead, and clear crew expectations
• Improve predictability: fewer last-minute scrambles, tighter sequencing, cleaner handoffs
• Raise the bar on safety leadership: consistent habits, not “after-the-fact” fixes
• Build trust with PMs and leadership through transparent communication and follow-through

Requirements

• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• Proven superintendent experience in structural concrete (high-end residential strongly preferred)
• Strong knowledge of:
  • Formwork, rebar, embeds, pour planning, curing, and finish expectations
  • Jobsite safety practices and field leadership
  • Reading plans/specs and coordinating with inspectors and subs
• Ability to lead crews with clarity, accountability, and respect
• Comfortable with field documentation (daily reports, photos, checklists)
• Reliable transportation and ability to work on-site across Los Angeles

Bonus Points

• Experience coordinating multiple active sites or complex logistics
• Familiarity with digital field tools (Procore or similar) — not required
