Role Overview
We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Prep Cook to be the backbone of our kitchen operations. You will work closely with our culinary team to ensure all ingredients are meticulously prepared, portioned, and organized for a smooth service.

Key Responsibilities

• Batch Cooking & Portioning: Execute large-scale recipes for house-made sauces, dressings, soups, and marinades. Responsible for the preparation and portioning of meats and other key menu items to ensure consistency and efficiency for the line.
• Food Preparation: Wash, peel, chop, and process vegetables, fruits, and other ingredients according to kitchen standards.
• Station Setup: Organize workstations and "mise en place" to support the line cooks during peak service hours.
• Safety & Sanitation: Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation; follow all food safety, storage, and labeling (FIFO) guidelines.
• Inventory Support: Monitor ingredient levels and notify management of any shortages or quality issues.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen or food prep experience preferred, but we are happy to train those with a strong work ethic.
• Strong knife skills and the ability to follow technical recipes accurately.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Dependable, punctual, and thrives in a fast-paced team environment.
• Basic understanding of health and safety regulations.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay: $16.00 – $20.00 per hour (based on experience).
