Location: New Orleans, LA

Proxi Dental Staffing is seeking a General Dentist for an FQHC in New Orleans starting Mid-May to late June. This opportunity is perfect for a compassionate and mission-driven provider who is looking to give back to an undeserved patient population.

Position Details:

• Schedule: Monday-Friday from 8a-5p; Lunch from 12p-1p
• Patients: Sees all ages; treats ages 5+; 15-25 ppd
• Clinical Scope: Comprehensive general dentistry (full scope) - plan and provide care for majority under-served population
  • They may complete treatment already planned by the regular provider or manage new patient needs that arise during coverage.
• Support Staff: 2 dental assistants, Clinic Practice Manager

Qualifications:

• DDS/DMD from accredited program
• Clean background strongly preferred
• Not eligible for H1B sponsorship
• Minimum 3 years experience preferred
• Must be willing to supervise dental residents
• Community Healthcare Experience preferred
• Medicare/Medicaid Enrollment: Strongly Preferred
• CPR: BLS required
• Must have Louisiana license and CDS
• Spanish-speaking is a plus but not required
