Bindery Worker and Mail sorting - off equipment - fast paced!

Production Finishing / Direct Mail Phoenix / Maricopa County, AZ Full-Time $18–$22/hr DOE

We run high-volume digital web press production and need a bindery worker who can keep up with the output. If you’ve worked in a fast-paced print finishing environment—sorting mail off inkjet web presses, catching off folding machines, or handling the downstream work that keeps production moving—we’d like to talk.

What You’ll Do

• Sort and stage mail pieces off digital web presses, maintaining order accuracy and production pace
• Catch and stack output off folding machines, monitoring fold quality and flagging any issues
• Inspect finished pieces for print and finishing defects and pull rejects before they reach the next stage
• Assist with inserting, tabbing, and other finishing operations as jobs require
• Keep the finishing area organized and clear to support continuous production flow
• Communicate with press operators and shift leads to coordinate job handoffs and address quality concerns

What We’re Looking For

• 1+ year of experience in a bindery, finishing, or production print environment
• Familiarity with folding machines, mail sorting, or inline finishing operations is a strong plus
• Ability to work at pace on a production floor and stay focused through repetitive tasks
• Good eye for quality—able to spot folding, trimming, or print defects quickly
• Reliable, team-oriented, and comfortable working alongside press operators in a fast-moving pressroom
• Experience in direct mail, commercial print, or publication production preferred
• Experience in commercial printing
