Job Summary
Job Description
Join our skilled team of imaging professionals as an IR Tech and use your expertise to perform invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures. You will be responsible for the operation and quality assurance of film processing, patient monitoring, and x-ray equipment.
Minimum Requirements:
- 2 years of Interventional Radiology (IR) technologist experience with references. Neuro/interventional angiography experience required.
- ARRT certification required. Registration in Radiologic Technology and relevant modality certifications preferred (CV or VI credentials preferred).
- BLS certification required. ACLS preferred.
- Experience with pediatric and adult patient populations.
- Experience using EPIC and PACS preferred; EPIC experience required by client.
- Proven ability beyond basic peripheral access, lines, or drains; ability to assist with CT and occasional CT scrub required.
- Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and adapt to changing staffing needs.
- State radiologic technologist license where applicable.
- Local candidates accepted.
Assignment Details
- Facility type: Hospital.
- Shift name: Days.
- Schedule: 10-hour day shifts, Monday-Friday with alternating day off.
- Call: Weekday call required plus rotating weekend call (Fri-Sun) with a 30-minute response time. Call frequency varies based on staffing and vacations.
- Patient population: Pediatric through geriatric.
- Typical volume: 10-15 cases per day.
- Equipment: Philips imaging systems. May assist with CT, ultrasound, and diagnostic procedures as needed.
- Interview process: Initial ITO interview and second interview with manager.
