Prep Cook

Kikka Sushi has Prep Cook / Line Cook team member type jobs in Whole Foods Market located at Woodland Market located at 21347 Ventura Blvd, Woodland Hills, CA 91364.   

Full Time only 5 days a week with week days off (must work all Saturdays and Sundays), working 9am – 6pm (including an hour unpaid meal break).

The Prep Cook / Line Cook / team member will make sushi and other Asian foods, in advance and per customer's request, prep work, clean, and provide great customers service.

To succeed the dependable, energetic, and hardworking team members that will:

• show up to work on time and as scheduled,
• be willing to work hard because this isn’t an easy job and,
• be patient, it takes about 3 - 6 months to get comfortable with the job
• willing to stick it out (not quit after a few days or weeks)
• Be able to work with multi-cultural and multi-lingual co-workers, some who barely speak English. 

Pay: $18.00 - Per SB1182: up to $19.00 per hour, depending on years of sushi making working experience.  No sushi making work experience, $18.00, not negotiable.

Qualifications:

• Eligible to work in the U.S.
• 18 years of age or older
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Must be able and willing to work all Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays

Preferred experience:

• Working in quick service restaurants, supermarkets or fast paced environments
• Food handling experience and food handler certification
