GPAC has teamed up with a well-known and reputable Agronomy Company in the area who is looking to add an Experienced Retail Sales Agronomist to their team. They offer a comprehensive compensation package that includes a competitive base salary, great commissions, health insurance, a company vehicle, 401K, PTO and more.
Sales Agronomist Responsibilities:
- Make fertilizer, chemical and seed recommendations to growers and farmers
- You will work alongside other agronomists to carry out daily responsibilities
- Facilitate positive long-term relationships with customers to create and promote long-term repeat business
- Prepare sales presentations, contracts and proposals to ensure successful transactions
- Forecast supply requirements by month and annual basis
- Perform a variety of agronomic duties independently
- Keep up to date on all agronomy services and technology.
Sales Agronomist Qualifications:
- 3+ years of agronomy related experience
- A degree in Agronomy/Agriculture
- Self-motivated, ability to work independently and with a team
- Candidates with established grower/farmer relationships will be priortized
- Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license
