Echo Ultrasound Tech Cardiac Sonographer

Salary: $2,364.89 - $2,564.89 /wk

Join our team as an Echo Ultrasound Tech / Cardiac Sonographer / Echo Technologist and use your expertise to operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, compassionately prepare patients for echocardiogram procedures, and produce detailed images of the heart for cardiologist interpretation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) from ARDMS or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
• 1-2 years previous experience in echocardiography required. (Client requests 1-2 years.)
• Demonstrated ability to perform comprehensive adult transthoracic echocardiography including 2-D, M-Mode, Pulse/Continuous Wave and Color Doppler.
• Capable of writing preliminary interpretations and assisting cardiologists with diagnostic and special procedures, including transesophageal echo support in outpatient settings.
• BLS certification required and must be maintained active and current.
• Experience maintaining echo lab records, participating in QA and ICAEL accreditation activities, and familiarity with ultrasound equipment maintenance and digital reporting systems preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced hospital environment. Good communication and multitasking skills required.
